Please keep in mind that I don't think we should be too gung-ho about making tons of threads and archives yet!
We still don't have an update from Mojo, and I'd hate to see too much work go into this board only to see Mojo's forums return.
That said, I agree its good to have a back up. But until we get an update from Mojo itself, I'm looking into setting up a better board somewhere else (IF I find any better options, if not then this one will stay).

You guys can do whatever (within reason!), I'm not trying to stop anyone from making threads. Just pointing out that there is a small chance you'll have to do it all over again if we make this a permanent board at another more attractive free message board-hosting site.

I also tried to keep emails to him at a minimum. Since I figured he is probably getting a buttload of emails (probably even from people that don't use the boards or rarely go to the site)

no, I understand it was Friday, but if Ray was saying that it was possible on Friday, (despite the fact that it has now been 4 days since then) then I'd like to believe that there's still a chance that the boards will be recovered.

I hope the board and derby are not going away with no explanation. I've been playing the Derby since 2002, it's become a staple in my weekly routine. I love it and love researching my estimates and usually look forward to the derby score every Monday. Now i'm left with nothing but a screen that won't let me log in and the fear that 9 years worth of games and scores is going to vanish.

Brandon left Mojo a while back, Ray is slow to answer but basically it looks like IMDb has tried to swallow the forums and not bother fixing them.
