I still am going there for the box office charts of films and stuff like that. Yeah me to.. Its still the best Movie info site there is.. Well I still will go to the IMDB as I said to grade movies and to get info. I always loved them, but now I'm kind of iffy. |

Never been involved in any "wars" between fans, only clashed once with Baumer about The Expendables (and we quickly made peace) and a couple of times with fishnets, that was nothing serious. And thanks a lot for the kind words Adim, you're also one of my favourite BOM posters. |

The Derby is a heartbreak, but I hope we can get the users together, carry on the games and create 500 pages long threads.

We just need an identity, I feel like Mojo is our history but not who we are anymore, way to painful thinking about everything that was lost. |

IMDB has so much traffic already just due to the massive amount of data they have for films. But their box office forum is inadequate. The film data is one thing. The forums are something else all together. They don't have any sort of box office data. If they do it is often inaccurate. Sure they have film profiles and it's a source of great information for films, actors, directors if you want a rundown of what they worked on. You can find some decent discussions depending on the film or the actor but that's as far as it goes. There is no real box office discussion going on there. |

IMDB is already huge, so I don't get it, why they wanna get rid of the BOM forum when it's pretty obvious that no one will visit the IMDB board after this. I want to read some of the old post for game and chart purposes, so we can carry on Survivor, FBO, Cayom, etc. They must have the data.

Wow, after the BOM members have formed a true social community over nearly a decade, it all vanishes, and there wasn't even the slightest bit of an advance warning. 9 years of exciting games, daring predictions, and intense disccusions are gone in the blink of an eye. The derby, as well, is downright depressing. All of these incredible games are pretty much gone too.
Granted, we're all still here, but it's depressing to see all of this gone.

Yeah I was shocked to just see the forums closed like that. I know they said they were fixing stuff with the viruses and all, but then to just see it saying, Go to IMDB, was shocking. Glad I found this place. But since it is blocked at work, unlike BOM, I can only be on here rarely.

Man this is truly sad. The thing that sucks the most is loss of the gigantic member base it had. The amount of discussion that went on was huge, there was never a dull moment. I'm also going to really miss the derby. I was never number 1! I placed 2nd a couple weeks, but never 1st. Oh well. I'm just glad most of us were able to find this place.
