lol are you listening to what people are saying? or do you just dismiss us because its not what you want need to learn some social skills, we aren't disagreeing with you the forum needs to be upgraded we do disagree that its functionality should be BASIC with some upgrades from mojo |

I can state that the functionality will be the same in a lot of places-but there will be some cool features. And if you don't like 'em, don't use 'em. That's no reason to deny the features to other people.

The simple fact it costs money, it slows down the site, and third some features can take away from efficiency in content and how the mods will work. Why I want to hear specifics. |

Err...well I revealed the iPhone App. Here's two more: 1) Multi-quote: Are you tired of having to quote one post then copying and pasting other quotes when your replying to multiple posts? On the new forum, simply click "quote" on each post you want to quote (it won't take you to the reply page), click "reply" and every post you quoted will be in the reply box, seperated by a couple of lines from each other. This will make it easier to quote stuff. 2) Live Update: New posts made while replying appear automatically on the page. This means, to give an example of functionality, if your playing a forum game, you'll know if someone beat you to the punch and therefore can adjust the play. |

I've been told to keep quiet on the bigger ones. For two reasons: 1) Surprise 2) In case Shawn decides to turn a feature off. I don't want to talk about a certain feature only to have Shawn be like "yeah, no, it's going to be off."  |

That's perfectly understandable, Totem. Things are pretty tight for me right now too (and a lot of us, I imagine). Thank you ALL for contributing what you have so far. I'll have an update on donations and distance to goal a bit later on tonight once I get back online.
For now though, I need a mini-break from the computer screen after the last few days, haha.
