lol are you listening to what people are saying? or do you just dismiss us because its not what you want need to learn some social skills, we aren't disagreeing with you the forum needs to be upgraded we do disagree that its functionality should be BASIC with some upgrades from mojo Didn't you basically do the same thing? 3 posts above this post, 2 people who rank very highly in my favorite posters list (admin at #2 and themovieman at # 11) just said they wouldnt mind seeing a chat feature. You mention the cost, but have you yourself looked up how much these features would cost? Probably not. If you want a BASIC forum, why don't you start one yourself and let's see how many follow you. You mention you were the one who started the idea of connecting this with BOT. How do we know you're not some sort of Shawn stalker who hacked and destroyed BOM so you could finally get close to Shawn? I'm watching you.  |

I'm watching you. are you serious about the last part? lol if so lay off the cocaine please... when water listed what the upgrades would be I was in support and they aren't MAJOR upgrades at least not right away I was a member of mojo for years and Shawn values my opinion but thanks anyways |

if and when there are any ads on the forum you will automatically have your forum profile set up to be ad-free for at least one year Tons of room on the right side for some Adsense. I don't mind seeing an advert link on the right hand sides of websites. When I use Youtube, I always get advertisments directed towards the websites I visit. Just don't use those stupid GM truck ones that fill part of your screen when you just run your mouse over it! Or having to watch a 30 second Afflac commercial before posting !!! I would donate, but I don't have a CC let alone any disposable income. |

^Sure did, Dex. I replied as well. Quick update: been on tech support chat for upwards of five hours now in the process of changing hosts. Long story short, its delayed me a bit in installing and working on the forum, but rest assured, I'm going as fast as possible.
My ***HOPE*** is to have it up sometime on Saturday evening, but it could possibly on Sunday. Once I get deeper into working on it tonight, I should have that narrowed down more.
While it will constantly be worked in some fashion, my goal is to at least launch it with enough features and settings so that everyone can register and post without many disruptions. I'd hate for it to look ugly and not completely ready when it goes live. 
Also, I'll post an update on where we stand with donations tonight. We're INCREDIBLY close to the target goal, I'll say that right now (and thanks to those who have donated already, we exceeded the bare minimum goal!).
Also noteworthy is that the target goals increased a bit due to unforeseen costs related to host transfer, but nothing hugely significant. |
