A few spots down there's some guy who said it was karma for us "attacking" the Green Lantern film. First of all I started that thread. True it was the whipping boy for mojo members, but it was also the whipping boy for other people. And by other people I mean the rest of the inhabitants on planet earth.
Slightly ot-I watched it again, the extended cut. Nothing life changing but I liked it a little more.

I post on a few of the movie specific forums but not that much and never get into pissing matches as it's not worth it. But what's worse than the posters there it's the forum software, just ugly and archaic.

You can find plenty of decent and even great users, but IMDb is a place where trolls thrive, and their existence also leads to a certain type of behavior from most boards' regular users. IMDb can be a fun place, if you're willing to go with the flow. |

Trolling-Yes there were trolls but every message board has them especially IMDB Sexism-It was mostly a male dominated board. But for the women that did post I never noticed them treated any differently. Homophobia-Until the Queer as Members thread came up I had no idea nor do I care which members were gay. And it appears so did most people. Unfair moderation-I personally never experienced this so I can't say, but I think most people were given pretty long leashes. |
