Yeah, prefer the lighter color. Red is too harsh on the eyes and makes me angry!

Accident. :lol: Its a free board, so some of the editing features are rather...limited. Yeah, I started an unofficial message board for another site's forum that went offline using proboards. It takes time to get around and change things. |

I wouldn't necessarily fret too much about the look of this board - IMO using a Proboards setup should only be a temporary thing, however things go at BOM.
Either the BOM boards will come back, and this won't be necessary. Or the BOM boards will be gone forever, in which case it would probably be best to consider actually starting a new board on a new server somewhere. Proboards is perfectly fine for the moment, but since it's hosted on their servers, you can't modify it to suit your needs perfectly. Not to mention whatever limitations Proboards puts on forum content - everything on this site belongs to them, not you (us). It will never be a great forum to run - only adequate.
Of course, having your own server costs money, so it's not a matter to be done trivially. Some of that money can be made back with ads, I suppose. It also requires some setup expertise, though one would think that there must be some of that among the BOM regulars.
But however things go, I gotta thank you for setting this up. I love the forums, and was very worried that they would just vanish without any equivalent replacement. It's just that I've been sensing that there's been a growing schism of purpose between BOM management and the forum crowd. It seems that we're getting closer and closer to a permanent separation of the two, however things go with the current situation.
