Shawn, we all know who did the most work on the forums. You should work on making box office theory BOM #2, let's get a forum integrated there and start poaching people from IMDB.

seriously, we don't HAVE to move to IMDB
we can just abandon mojo and start our own forum
this is the time to do it while in this transition people see IMDB forums are a joke

Yeah. I'm so used to typing it, and I love using the quick reply feature, but you can't click on smileys when you use that.
Also- I miss the "view your posts" search option.

Its certainly worth considering, and I am humbled by the mere suggestion. I'm just not sure I am ready to add that aspect to BOT yet. My own focuses are on developing content for the site and its overall future. If enough people really backed it though, I'd give it strong consideration before deciding.

You want your own BO site where you are in charge, here is your chance. we can all help on getting the word out, that's not a problem to the other movie forums if IMDB really thinks we are all taking our traffic over there, they got another thing coming especially how they did it without any warning |

Shawn, you are a true pioneer in some ways. As much as Mojo will always be the genesis of box office discussion amongst us, BOT is a natural progression, an evolutionary leap if you will. I'd welcome your site being our new home. and I'd do anything i could to help you out with it.

While you should be an active admin, if you want to concentrate on BOT and let Impact (or VS) be the Co-Head Admin of the forum, I don't think anyone would complain.

That's definitely something that would be likely. I'm going to make on the decision on the matter before this weekend is up (if not sooner). Part of me is waiting to see if BOM goes back up or not, but there are certainly other factors to consider at the moment.. |
