Looks like it just limped into the top 100 adjusted list as of Saturday 11/5/11.
A commendable feat... although one has to take the 3D effect into account.

It's sold 43m tickets, which is great, IMHO, since DH1 sold 36m.
Spectacular film. DH1 + DH2 make for one hell of a great movie. The first part soars as a coming of age tale, and the second part is an exhilarating film with some amazing intimate moments.

Another example, Toy Storie 3' total dollars were higher than Toy Storie 2' total dollar adjusted, but TS3 sold less tickets.
