I think that Morpheus was originally supposed to be played by Sean Connery as well.
Also, it's old news that everyone's probably already heard, but it always makes me LOL, Jim Cameron didn't cast OJ as terminator because he thought people wouldn't buy OJ as a murderer.

You know, there's a couple in there I would've loved to have seen... Alexander with that cast (who knows, could've been better) and Jim Carrey and Julia Stiles in Meet the Parents.

Schwarzenneger/Stallone would have made an AWESOME Face Off. Face Off is already insanely awesome. But yes, perhaps Sly and Arnie would've made it awesomer.

Cage would have been great in Constantine. Absolutely great. It was made for him.

I don't know about Michelle Pfeiffer for Silence of the Lambs.
I do know that Meg Ryan ;D was the directors absolute first choice and he was definitely opposed to Jodie Foster.
Saw it on the Biography channel. Also, the studio didn't want Anthony Hopkins but the director did. So they compromised they let him have Hopkins if he went with Foster. Good thing Meg Ryan turned it down.
