The WWE Raw with The Muppets as special guests was HILARIOUS!
Not sure if that was the right audience to like that...

As I said in BOM thread, I can't see the appeal of this film. The most I can see is Space Jam numbers. What this would be adjusted?

Space Jam adjusted would be mid-$100s And this was thanks to Jordan and a more appealing plot including basketball. For me, 130/150m is the highest rank for Muppets. I'm rooting for a 90m finale.

It depends how old you are. If you grew up in the 70's and early 80's the Muppets were one of the biggest things out there. Plus I think the Muppet Movie adjusts to almost 200 million. It's been my most anticipated film since Harry Potter.

I expect the Muppets to do very well - it looks like a good movie, plus everyone loves Jason Segel. He's one of the hottest things out there right now. Absolutely perfect casting. The WWE Raw with The Muppets as special guests was HILARIOUS! Not sure if that was the right audience to like that... Seriously? Wow. I used to watch WWF many years ago. As you say I don't think that's the right audience, but it still seems like it would be very cool. Are there any clips of this available online?

It's been my most anticipated film since Harry Potter. Same here I can't wait to see it. I hope it makes atleast 150m.

Space Jam adjusts to 49.6/162.1. The ad campaign for this has been incredible. They're definitely trying to hook in all demographics. I'd be shocked if this isn't the biggest film over Thanksgiving. I think it could even beat BD that weekend. I think this could go over 200 million and I'm banking on a sequel for Thanksgiving 2014(disney has Pixar for 2013)

The screening they're having here at USC sold out within a half-hour, so I can attest to the fact that people of the 18-34 age group are legitimately excited. I'd go as far to say it's the most anticipated movie of the month outside of Breaking Dawn; if I was ballsier, I'd say of the season.
Enchanted numbers are a minimum.

If this doesn't pass The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie in ticket sales, I will personally smash my laptop in realizing there is no good in the world.
I love the Muppets, yet I'm expecting Enchanted or even better Space Jam numbers for this, I just don't see it passing $200 million.

^ Agreed. Though $40 of that total will definitely be coming from us.

This is sort of like the "real" Pixar movie this year, it seems.

This is going to be big. Enchanted adjusts to 146m today and Tangled adjusts to mid 160s without 3D. And I feel like this is getting more coverage and crossover-demographic anticipation.

Muppets is probably one of the most anticipated movies for our summer holidays over here And i personally think it will be the biggest grossing kids film in Australia this summer hitting (or nearly hitting) $20m. I've heard so much talk about it!
