yeah but the Box Office board there is pretty good I have to admit. Attracts mostly decent people. Not bad to check out sometime

The idea of starting from the beggining here is good, but I really don't want to leave BOM Forums, I don't post a lot, but I read things there almost everyday. I hope this is temporary, but yeah, I don't wanna go to IMDB.

Why did they close down the BOM forum?
This new forum will be a big success, but it is sad to lose all that information and all those old posts.

I was mostly a lurker too on BOM. I made only about 600 posts since 2004, but read forums every day and lurked long before I joined - I first posted on the Box Office Report forums.

I will be sad to lose my IMAX OW thread on BOM. It was so hard to compile and find all that info. No website is really keeping track of IMAX grosses.

^ It might have been the most active, but all the traffic was on the front page, the charts and the derby. The forum compared to those was expendable.

I feel that the people on this board are not trolls. They seem to care about the movies and if the Mods feel a troll is around they will take care of them.
