How can we contact Ray? Because the international grosses for some films are off. On his email id. I don't remember it though.

Italy Friday: 68,000 euros (-34%)
Any hope of a classic recovery is lost now.

It seems so. Also, a couple of local movies are dominating the BO right now. That might be a reason for the small numbers Tintin is posting. Tintin love in Europe: French>English>German>Italian

Some weekend trends from Germany: PA3 should open with 300'000 admissions (twice the number PA2 made) Real Steel with maybe 250'000 admissions Tintin 225 k in its second weekend, rather disappointing. Germany is not a Tintin country... A very Wierd BO country somtimes... 80-90 mill people with pretty high living standarts... Should have done better

I really hope Tintin's domestic success can somewhat reflect its overseas performance.
I'd love to see $200m Dom/$500m Overseas.

Oh and it really sucks that we lost the BOM forums. The international thread had almost 400 pages and was FILLED with memories from the days of AVATAR and it's 6/7 consecutive weekends over $100m. The international thread was by far my favourite at BOM.
Stupid IMDB.

I think 200 M domestic is possible. I'm starting to think so as well. I just have this feeling that a great Speilberg/Jackson adventure flick will trump prior fan base any day of the week.

If not increase, then at least stay flat. This is really shocking. Even Avatar dropped 30% in its second weekend.
I think PIB could get the biggest 2nd weekend of all-time.

A second weekend increase anywhere would be amazing, especially after an opening that size. But in Russia? WTF?! $60m in Russia for Puss?!

"Overseas, Puss in Boots grossed $15 million from just four markets for an international total of $39 million--including a record-breaking $35 million in Russia, where it is already the No. 4 toon of all time. Puss in Boots' worldwide total is $114.5 milllion."
So $14m+ 2nd weekend in Russia. Nearly flat!
